A Warning to Barack Obama

My support for Senator Obama remains strong. I still maintain that Obama is the best candidate for president. One of the things I like about him is that he is still ‘one of the people’. I like that he hasnt become a ‘politician’ and therefore corrupt. However, Obama needs to tread carefully and avoid further incidents such as when he tried to breeze past a desk clerk at his new gym. He is not above having to stop and check in no matter who he is. Sure, when he is president then special security arrangements will have to be made but he really needs to be careful and not start thinking he is above anyone else. That is what I despise about most politicians.

  1. Personally, I’m much more bothered by his “rejection” of Wesley Clark’s comments on McCain. With Rev. Wright’s comments, it was warranted. With Clark’s, it was not. And it’s beginning to look like a pattern for artificially taking the high road.

This is the first I’m hearing about the gym thing, and I really don’t care about it. It’s not something that will make or break my opinion.

  2. I think what he is trying to do is create some solidarity with John McCain. I personally agree 100% with Gen Clark. At the same time, however, I agree with you that Obama should stick to his principles more and politics less.

  3. Our wires must be crossed somewhere, because I also agree with Clark’s comments, but I feel like Obama’s “rejection” of them is less about principal and more about politics.

  5. General Clark is an idiot and a Democratic stoooge. He’s being manipulated by the Democratic party.

  6. Even an idiot and a stooge can make at least one intelligent comment in his lifetime.
