10 Reasons I Support Barack Obama

10:  Opposed the Iraqi war from the start.

9:   “There are no red states, there are no blue states, there are the United States”

8:   “There is not a Liberal America, there is not a Conservative America, there is the Unites States of America”

7:   There are not Latino-Americans, there are not White-Americans, there are not African-Americans, there are Americans”

6:   Understands that we need to negociate with our enemies because they are our enemies. 

5:   Understands that there is a whole world out there with real people living outside the borders of the United States.

4:  Even during this campaign, has not missed a single parent-teacher conference or school play.

3:   Has consistantly reached accross the aisle to make deals with Republicans.

2:   Understands that all persons need health care.

  1. 10. We liberated 50,000,000 people and got rid of a dangerous dictator. The War was not carried out correctly.

    9. But I’ll bet Obama would like there to be more red states than blue states. As long as we are the United States when it comes to our enemies.

    8. Pretty much the same answer as #9.

    7. I wish everyone felt that we are all Americans ands quit with the labels.

    6. You negotiate from a position of strength. Wars have been won because we have defeated the enemy. We must remember that our enemies want to kill us and are not interested in a negotiated settlement that doesn’t totally favor them.

    4. That’s commendable! Not all citizens have the means to do that. This isn’t really a quallification for leadership.

    3. I’d like some examples. Bush has tried to cross the aisles too. McCain even more so.
